Furniture Care
Small habits. Lasting comfort.
These are general care suggestions. Always follow the specific instructions supplied with your final product, as materials and finishes need different treatment.
Wood and wood finishes
Dust with a soft cloth. Wipe spills promptly and use coasters or heat-resistant mats. Avoid standing water, abrasive cleaners and prolonged direct heat. Test any recommended cleaning product in a hidden area first. Natural grain and colour can vary between pieces.
Upholstery
Vacuum gently with a suitable attachment. Blot spills without rubbing. Check the fabric care code before using water or cleaning solutions. Removable covers are not necessarily machine washable. Rotate loose cushions where recommended.
Outdoor furniture
Keep drainage points clear and remove debris. Store cushions clean and dry and use suitable covers when furniture is not in use. Protect pieces during prolonged wet, freezing or extreme weather. Outdoor suitability, UV performance and coastal suitability depend on the final specification; do not assume every material is maintenance-free.
Metal, glass and stone
Use a soft cloth and an approved mild cleaner. Avoid acids, harsh solvents, abrasive pads and sharp impacts. Lift furniture instead of dragging it. For sealed stone or special coatings, follow the supplied maintenance schedule.
Assembly and everyday safety
Use the supplied hardware and instructions, respect load limits and check fixings periodically. Anchor furniture where required by the manufacturer. Keep packaging away from children. Electrical products require the correct bulb, rating and safe installation stated in their final instructions.
