Size & Access Guide
1. Measure the room
Mark out the product footprint with tape, including the space needed for chairs to move, doors to open and people to pass. Check the final dimensions for the exact configuration you choose.
2. Measure the route
Check the narrowest doorway, corridor width, stair width, turns, landing depth, ceiling clearance and lift opening. Account for handles, railings and other fixed obstructions. An item fitting in a room does not guarantee it will fit through the access route.
3. Ask for packed dimensions
Product dimensions and package dimensions are different. Ask how many packages are supplied, whether legs detach, the packed weight and whether specialist lifting is needed. Do not assume a sofa or table can be dismantled unless confirmed.
4. Tell us about the address
Include floor level, lift availability, parking or loading restrictions, narrow roads, steps and appointment requirements. Upstairs carrying, hoisting and assembly need a separately accepted quotation.
5. Prepare the space
Clear a safe path and protect vulnerable floors. Keep children and pets away from the unloading area. Inspect the delivery when practical and contact us if anything is missing or damaged.
